What you NEED to Know About Eggs in Order to Heal

Updated: Jul 22, 2021

Eggs seems to be a staple in every breakfast and brunch dish, they make the airiest soufflé's, the fluffiest cakes, and they also... make health issues worse.

If you suffer from any health conditions, symptoms or illness, the info below that I provide on eggs is cricitical to your healing journey. Sidenote: You were told you can't heal or that there's no cure? That's hopeless hogwash. Here's your dose of daily hope: Your body was made to heal! It IS possible for the body to heal. Read on for more helpful (and hopeful) info...

Once I truly started paying attention to how I felt after I ate eggs, I realized that my Epstein-Barr Symptoms would immediately flare up! I experienced extreme fatigue and lethargy, brain fog, headache, weakness, dizziness, lightheadedness, trouble concentrating, body aches, heart palpitations, racing heart, feeling like my blood was heavy and vibrating, swollen lymph nodes, and the list goes on and on.

Thanks to the info that Anthony William, the Medical Medium provided about how eggs feed pathogens, viruses and bacteria, which proliferates the symptoms they cause, I was able to make some fantastic headway on healing my Epstein-Barr Virus.

Mind you, it wasn’t exactly an easy change for me. It wasn't an overnight switch. I had a hard time wanting to believe the truth about how eggs were affecting me, because like many others, we are taught to believe that eggs are a staple health food.

But, after starting to practice self-awareness (although a bit relunctlently because I liked eggs), I experienced how they flared up my EBV (Epstein Barr Virus). Once I really learned the truth of this first hand, it became so much easier for me to take eggs out of my diet.

I started slowly, though. I had eggs every once in a while, sometimes in baked goods, sometimes at relative's homes where eggs were a part of the meal, but bit by bit I eradicated eggs completely out of my diet because they just don't serve me well. They feed not only the underlying EBV, but also the Shingles virus I've had, as well as Strep (Streptococcus) I have in the gut. (Strep is a very common co factor to viruses like EBV).

Although years ago eggs provided true nutritious value, it’s important to understand that now-a-days, eggs feed underlying root causes to our health issues.

Why? Because early in the 20th century, scientists discovered that the pathogens, viruses and bacteria they were studying in the lab thrived on eggs. Since then, eggs have unfortunately become virus’ and bacteria’s favorite food source. When pathogens eat their favorite foods, they get stronger, grow and… poop. That excretion is called a neurotoxin, and adds even more symptoms and conditions to the set of health issues and insufferable symptoms that the pathogen already causes. It’s important to understand the root cause to your symptoms, because then you can heal.

If you have any of the below conditions or symptoms, (or really symptoms of any kind), consider taking eggs out of your diet, as this is a critical step towards healing. *Note: Even if you haven't been diagnosed with a particular egg allergy, eggs can still get in the way of your body's natural healing process.

So, with that information, what do you do now? I'm here to tell you that you can heal. It takes applying healing foods, supplements, herbs and protocols and adjusting to a more holistic lifestyle. It takes time and patience, but it's worth it. Because you're worth it. It's true what they say: Health is Wealth. Without your health, the quality of life just isn't there, and that makes life difficult and un-enjoyable, to say the least.

If you have any health issue, it can be so helpful on your holistic health journey to focus on nutrient-dense food (plant-based whole foods) and to cut out eggs. If you’re reading this and having a hard time digesting this (like I did in my early days), try this as your first step on this journey towards healing and thriving: Practice self awareness; notice how certain foods make you feel and make necessary adjustments that serve you well. Remember: your body was made to heal. By giving it the opportunity to do so with healing foods and tools, as well as holistic lifestyle practices, you can achieve that thriving health you deserve!

How to adapt to a diet without eggs?

No one said it's easy, but it can be done. And when you start seeing positive results, (and simply just start feeling better!) it becomes that much easier to cut eggs out of your diet. Here are a few ideas to get you started on a lifestyle without eggs:

  • Substituting flax seed, psyllium husk, chia seeds, Agar powder or applesauce in your baking (Need an egg-free breakfast waffle to get you started? Try my Vegan Banana Waffles!)

  • Focus on fruit in the morning instead of eggs for breakfast, as fruit is incredibly healing anyway!

  • When eating out for breakfast or brunch, some alternative choices to try are: smoothies and smoothie bowls, granola, (eggless) gluten free pancakes and waffles, and potatoes! (Potatoes are an incredible healing food with glucose, mineral salts, and numerous vitamins, minerals and nutrients!)

  • Become a label reader as many packaged and processed foods contain eggs!

  • Switch to Vegan (Canola + Soybean oil free) "Mayonaise"
